Authorized data sharing with Portbase

Hutchison Ports ECT Rotterdam shares valuable information with Portbase. This offers users of Portbase the following benefits:

  • Reliable data from the source (terminal) is made centrally available in Portbase;
  • Time savings due to less searching on different platforms;
  • Greater efficiency in the logistics chain.

For below services of Portbase, additional terms and conditions may apply:

  • MCA Road
  • Cargo Controller

MCA Road

As of January 2026, premium terminal data of the ECT Delta and ECT Euromax terminal is shared through the MCA Road service. The following data elements are shared:

To receive the premium terminal data in either the web screens of MCA Road or via an API of MCA Road in your own system, no additional conditions apply.

Cargo Controller

As the data owner, ECT sets conditions for obtaining extra data through the Portbase service Cargo Controller. Portbase will consult MyTerminal’s Authorization Register (AR) for this service; only if the correct authorization at the company level is found, a user is allowed to access ECT data through Cargo Controller. Authorization is granted if the Chamber of Commerce number in both platforms is the same. This way, Portbase verifies with ECT whether the user has a MyTerminal account and what type of subscription (Free, Premium, or Premium Plus), to know which data elements may be provided.

The following conditions are effective for Cargo Controller as of November 4, 2024:

  • Container discharge confirmation: a MyTerminal Free, Premium or Premium Plus subscription is required
  • ETA/ETD vessel: a MyTerminal Premium Plus subscription is required

Note 1: These conditions are applicable for both web screen users and API users of Cargo Controller.

Note 2: ECT retains the right to make changes to the terms. Stakeholders will be informed in a timely manner of any changes to the terms.
