Release Orders

Release Orders

Please note: Only available for users with Release Order permission(s) enabled.

Security requirements

Awareness of the importance of container security is an ongoing process. For the sake of security, it is decided that the person who is permitted to create Release orders, is not permitted to cancel Release orders and vice versa. Furthermore, a distinction is made between creating and cancel releases of full and empty containers.

Release Order - Create

To release one or multiple containers, click the 'Create an order' button and choose ‘Create release order’ on the My Orders page. In the ‘Create release order’ modal, follow these steps:

  1. Select the terminal that belongs to the containers you want to release (Delta or EMX)

  2. Select the operator code for which you like to release containers (only selectable if you have related operators)

  3. Select whether the containers you want to release are full or empty. If this box is not selectable, you only have permissions to create releases for the preselected type of containers.

  4. Select the ultimate release date (optional, the default date is 45 days in the future)

  5. Select the mode of transport (optional)

  6. Paste or type a list of up to 100 container numbers along with their respective release numbers in the box on the left. You can enter both container numbers that are already known on MyTerminal and containers that are unknown now, but will be known in the future.

  7. Click the 'Submit' button to submit the order

The order will be processed, for more information about retrieving the status of your order, see chapter 'Order overview - Release Order - Create.
