Dwell time

Please note: Dwell Time is only available for users with the ‘DwellTime’ permission enabled.

Dwell Time for Import containers

All containers that are added on the Import page will be automatically added to the Dwell Time overview.

Dwell Time is the amount of days an Import container is or was present at one of our terminals. With the Dwell Time overview you can see at one glance which containers might fall outside the agreed free period with the relevant shipping line. It is also a useful overview for checking the dwell time after the container left the terminal.

The following columns are available in the Dwell Time overview:

Calculation value

Dwell Time can be calculated in two ways. You can select the calculation value in the following dropdown:

• Container discharge: Dwell Time is the amount of days the container is or was on the terminal since the discharge time
• Object arrival: Dwell Time is the amount of days the container is or was on the terminal since the object arrival time

Delete container from Dwell Time

In order to delete a container from the Dwell Time overview, select one or more containers and click ‘Delete’.

Sort Dwell Time list

You can sort the Dwell Time list by container number or operator code. Click the column name to sort the list. Click again to change the sorting order from ascending to descending.

Filter Dwell Time list

Filter the Dwell Time list by using the search box. The list is filterable by container number or operator code.
