Ensure swift transport of your import containers to the customs scan with our Additional Service "PrioScan". This new service is currently only available at our Delta terminal and will be further optimized in the near future.

Hutchison Ports ECT Rotterdam takes care of the transportation of scan containers to the customs scan facility. This scan facility is located at the premises of ECT. ECT determines the order in which scan containers are transported to this facility, taking into account the maximum agreed lead time. This is normally 36 hours (including the assessment of the scan by customs) after the discharge of the container.

Benefits of PrioScan:

  • With PrioScan we guarantee that your containers will be transported to the customs scan within 8 hours after discharge.

  • For PrioScan containers it becomes visible on MyTerminal when the container is scanned.

There is a limited capacity for PrioScan available per object to ensure this guarantee. You can already activate PrioScan 7 days before ETA of the object. Once an object has arrived you can no longer activate PrioScan.

The introductory tariff of just €89 per container (excl. VAT) does not replace the costs charged by the shipping line.

Disclaimer: While PrioScan accelerates the offering of your containers by ECT at the customs scan, the (speed of) assessment of the scan by customs is beyond the control of Hutchison Ports ECT Rotterdam.

On the Import page (only available for Premium members)

Select your containers on the import page, then click the “PrioScan” button.

A pop-up will appear where you can verify the container number(s); click “continue”.

You will see an overview of your selected container(s). Please note that for certain containers, activating PrioScan may not be possible due to the following reasons:

  1. Maximum PrioScan limit already reached for this object
  2. PrioScan already activated for this container
  3. Container not known at ECT
  4. PrioScan is not available for containers at the Euromax terminal
  5. PrioScan is not available for containers prior to 7 days before ETA of the object
  6. PrioScan is not available for containers after actual arrival of the object
  7. PrioScan is not available for containers with an unknown object

Below you will find the order summary. Please review it carefully before clicking “submit order”.

Once completed, a confirmation page will appear, and a confirmation email will be sent to the purchaser as well as the MyTerminal Administrator(s) associated with your company account. We consolidate all additional services into one invoice, which is sent out on a weekly basis.

On the Dashboard

Click the “Start using PrioScan” button.

A pop-up will appear allowing you to enter the container number(s) for which you wish to activate PrioScan. After adding the container number(s), click “continue”.

You will then see an overview of your selected container(s). Please note that for certain containers, activating PrioScan may not be possible due to the reasons mentioned above.

Once completed, a confirmation page will appear, and a confirmation email will be sent to the purchaser as well as the MyTerminal Administrator(s) associated with your company account. We consolidate all additional services into one invoice, which is sent out on a weekly basis.
