Student Driver Entry Requests
Please note: Student driver entry requests are only available for users with the 'Terminal' permission enabled
Every driver has a first visit to the Delta and Euromax terminals, often as a passenger together with a colleague. Arranging terminal entry for student drivers meant submitting manual requests at ECT by mail.
Now you can fill in a simple form to fully automate the entry requests to ECT.
The student driver entry request form can be found on MyTrucks and navigate using the "Register student driver" button in the top-right.
The Form
The form consists of three parts that need to be filled in before entry can be granted.
- Terminal visit
- Primary driver
- Student driver
Once the form has been filled in and sent to MyTerminal it will be communicated to the gate.
Terminal visit
The first part is about which terminal to visit and when.
- Terminal: The terminal(s) your drivers request entry for. You can choose one or both terminals.
- Starting date: The first day your drivers will want to enter the terminals. The start date needs to be between tomorrow and 30 days in the future.
- Amount of days: The number of days that entry is requested. A limit of 7 days is possible.
- License number: The license number of the truck that will be driven
Primary driver
The primary driver is the person driving the truck and the one teaching their student.
We require their first and last names including their valid CargoCard number.
Student driver
The driver that is being taught.
Similarly to the primary driver we require their name and their CargoCard number.
Important: You can only request entry for the same driver and student combination twice. If you exceed this limit you will no longer be permitted to transport student drivers. Future entry requests will be rejected.
Confirmation email
Once the request has been processed you will receive a confirmation email with the information we have sent to Security.
